INTERIORS:  In these paintings of house interiors I turned again to ready-made images; this time from real estate websites where rooms too small to capture except through a doorway sit empty, between occupants. Only recently did I stumble on a word that I think describes the emotion I hope to capture in these modest interiors: kenopsia. Kenopsia is a new word coined by John Koenig, creator of the website "Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows."
